Michelangelo, too! Really?

Apparently, God did not create Adam – nor did Michelangelo create this beautiful masterpiece...at least not on G+, if it's not censored.

May we point out that this masterpiece and many others are widely and commonly available to minors in school and public libraries, bookstores, museums, etc?

Students can study artwork and art history, without parental permission, but G+ users are not allowed to share this legal content?

Crazy! You can "Google" Michelangelo and see the unedited version any time you like, but post it on G+ and you get the logo!! Utter nonsense.

I thought g+ was only for adults anyway -- all over 18......

I don't think they should censor art. G+ seems to have attracted a very extensive photographer following this is not going to work for them. Seriously if you go to Google you can set your 'Reading Level' why can't you give the user the ability to censor themselves instead of you deciding for us.

Yes, folks, it is rather inane, but this is the G+ we are being served on a daily basis. I hope you took the time to "sign" our petition!

I can understand the need to make pornography less accessible to children. I can also understand the need to warn people of nudity in content prior to viewing it. Some people and institutions have yet to reach a certain maturity, expected from mankind in the year 2011

To censor art due to nudity, as in this work from Michelangelo, is definately going too far.
